Upcoming Events (Updated 9/13/05) Friday September 23rd, 9PM CITYWIDE NLG STUDENT PARTY. 5C lounge and cultural center located 68 Ave C in the East Village. The cause is that we all need to get in the same room and get some solidarity going. The cause is that if we're going to do the rough work of fighting for change, we need to have fun. Here's the gig: Jason Flores-Williams, notorious for organizing die ins, getting arrested, being the High Times magazine editor of the RNC Activist's Guide - now co chair of the NLG chapter of Rutgers Law, is going to say some words on the political let's-kick-their-ass tip. We need a couple other speakers to do the same. Laura Raymond, student organizer, will MC. But mostly this is about meeting each other and talking about how to have an impact city-wide. We all have our little chapters, let's make a big chapter that can really do something. And of course it’s an excuse to get out in the EV on a Friday night.
